Trivo is a free trivia game with an optional paid plan, Trivo PRO. These terms are the short, honest version of what you can expect from it and what it expects from you.

Using Trivo

By playing, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not play.

Who can play

You must be 16 or older. If you are not, you may not create an account or play.

Your account

• You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google or Apple.
• A guest account cannot be recovered. There is no password and no email attached to it, so if you lose access to your browser or device, that account and its history are gone.
• A guest can be turned into a permanent account, and the games played as a guest come with it — but only into a Google or Apple account that does not already have a Trivo profile. If it does, the two cannot be merged, and signing in with it means leaving the guest's games behind.
• Your username is shown to other players in a match. Do not impersonate anyone, and do not choose something abusive — a username that does may be changed or removed.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Playing fairly

Please do not:

• use bots, scripts or automation to play or to read the questions;
• try to reach questions or answers outside of normal play;
• interfere with other players, or use the in-game reactions to harass someone;
• attack, overload or probe the service or the people using it.

Accounts that do these things can be removed without notice.

The questions are written by an AI, and can be wrong

Trivo's questions are generated by an AI model and are not individually checked by a person. Some will be inaccurate, outdated, ambiguous, or will mark a defensible answer as incorrect. Do not rely on anything in Trivo as a source of fact. Every question has a report button, and reporting one is genuinely useful.

Quizzes you make

Signed-in players can write their own quizzes in Quiz Studio, by hand or with help from AI, and share them with a link.

• Your quizzes are yours. You keep the rights to what you write. By sharing a quiz you let Trivo store it, show it to the people you share it with and anyone they pass the link to, and run games from it — for as long as the quiz exists.
• Only share what you are allowed to share. No hateful, sexual, violent or harassing content, nothing about private people, nothing you do not have the right to publish, and nothing illegal where you or your players live.
• Reports. Any player can report a quiz or another player. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. A quiz reported by three different players stops opening from its link until it has been reviewed. A quiz or account that breaks these rules can be removed.
• AI-written questions can be wrong. Questions Studio writes for you are marked until you have looked at them. You are responsible for what you share, so check them.
• Credits are Studio's allowance for AI questions. You earn them by playing; each AI batch of questions uses one. Credits have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and are not refunded when an account is deleted. Writing questions by hand never uses a credit.

What Trivo costs

Playing Trivo is free: solo, the daily challenge, rooms with friends and any shared quiz. Joining a room never costs anything.

Trivo PRO is an optional subscription that adds more room to make quizzes — longer quizzes, more credits, and Insights on how players answered. It never changes how a match is played or scored, and nothing another player sees ranks them below a PRO player.

• Who sells it. On the web, PRO is sold by Paddle, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record: your contract for the payment is with Paddle, under its buyer terms, and your receipt comes from Paddle. The price, and any tax on it, is shown before you pay.
• Renewal. The web plan is yearly and renews automatically at the end of each year until you cancel.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time from Profile → Trivo PRO → Manage subscription, or from the link in Paddle's receipt. PRO then stays on until the end of the year you paid for, and does not renew. Anything you made with PRO stays yours: longer quizzes still play in full, you just cannot add past the free limits.
• Refunds: 14 days, no reason needed. Ask within 14 days of any payment — the first one or a yearly renewal — and you get all of it back, wherever you live. Reply to Paddle's receipt, use paddle.net, or write to trivogamedev@gmail.com. PRO ends when the refund is made. After 14 days a payment is not refunded, except where the law says otherwise, and cancelling then simply stops the next renewal. This is more than the 14-day right of withdrawal EU and UK law gives you, and does not replace it.
• Before a yearly renewal. Paddle emails you a reminder before each renewal, where the law requires one, with the price and how to cancel.
• The founding price. Anyone who subscribes during PRO's first three months pays the founding price above and keeps it every year for as long as that subscription keeps renewing. If it is cancelled and runs out, a new subscription is at the price of the day.
• Price changes. A new price never applies to a founding subscription. For anyone else, it applies from your next renewal, and you will be told by email at least 30 days before, so you can cancel first.
• A gift of PRO. Trivo may give PRO to some players for free. A gift is not a subscription, costs nothing and never renews into a charge.

What Trivo promises

Trivo is provided as is, with no guarantee that it will work, that it will keep working, that matches will finish, or that your scores and history will be preserved. Features can change and the service can be taken down at any time, without notice.

To the fullest extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from using Trivo — including lost game history, scores or streaks. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. If you signed in with Google or Apple, Profile → Delete account removes your account and everything tied to it, permanently. Deleting your account does not cancel a PRO subscription, which is with Paddle — cancel it first. A guest has no delete row, because a guest cannot prove who they are — email trivogamedev@gmail.com and it will be deleted. Access may be suspended or removed if these terms are broken.

Content

The Trivo name, mark, design and question content belong to their owner and are not yours to reuse. Your username is yours.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute will be heard by the courts of Dubai.

If you are a consumer somewhere with mandatory local protections — most of the EU and the UK among them — nothing here takes away the rights your own country's law gives you, or your right to bring a claim where you live.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new version.
